a new OS for society

we work 5 days a week and 11 months of the year we should work 4 days of the week and 8 months of the year 2 months off in spring/summer 2 months off fall/winter

we prep for those months winter we slow down summer we have fun

we work from 18 to 75 in ~60 years of work we should have 10 total years of mini retirements/sabbaticals basically 1 year every ten is sabbatical, plus every second year u get an extra one

we have the capacity

• we waste so much food
• we waste so much energy
